How to Delete Your Account & Data

1. Delete your account from inside the app

1. Open BhaktiHub and go to the More tab (bottom right).
2. Tap your name (or your number) at the top of the list.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

That is all. You are signed out on every phone immediately. Because the app requires sign-in, it will ask you to sign in again if you keep using it — you can simply uninstall it instead (section 5).

2. What is deleted, and when

Everything linked to your account is permanently erased within 30 days:

• Your mobile number and name
• Your favourites, chosen deities, rashi, jaap count and streak saved to the account
• Your sign-in tokens and your phone's push token
• Your subscription record, if any (an active BhaktiHub Plus subscription is not refunded by deleting the account — see the Refund Policy)

Changed your mind? If you sign in again with the same number within those 30 days, the account and everything in it are restored. After 30 days nothing is left to restore.

What is not linked to your account and therefore cannot be traced to you: the anonymous content statistics and short-lived server logs described in section 7.

3. If you cannot open the app

Email contact@devoshapps.com with the subject "Delete my account – BhaktiHub" and the mobile number you signed in with. We may send an OTP to that number to confirm it is yours. We acknowledge within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.

4. What BhaktiHub keeps on your phone

This stays in the app's private storage on your own phone:

• Your chosen language, text size, and light/night mode
• Your chosen deities (aaradhya) and rashi
• Your favourite wallpapers, statuses, bhajans and ringtones
• Your alarms — time, name, days and the selected tone
• Your jaap count and daily streak
• Recently downloaded content, so the app opens quickly and works offline

5. Remove the app's data from your phone — uninstall the app

Uninstalling the app deletes all of the data listed above from your phone completely. (It does not delete your account — use section 1 for that.)

• Press and hold the BhaktiHub icon on your phone → tap Uninstall, or
• Open the Play Store → search for BhaktiHub → tap Uninstall

6. Keep the app, but clear its data or permissions

Open your phone’s Settings → Apps → Bhakti Hub → Storage → Clear data (called "Clear storage" on some phones). The app is reset to a fresh start. You can remove any permission from Settings → Apps → Bhakti Hub → Permissions, and turn off notifications under Notifications in the same place.

The names of these options can vary slightly between phone brands.

7. What stays on our server

• Anonymous statistics: how often a wallpaper or bhajan was opened. These contain nothing that identifies you, so they cannot be traced back to one person and deleted.
• Server logs: technical logs kept for security are deleted automatically after a short period.
